ABOUT ME

I’m a freelance photographer with a love for bold, cinematic aesthetics. I was born in Romania but raised in Toronto where I currently reside. I have a great passion for philosophy, people, motorcycles, vinyl records and, of course, storytelling! I had a career in Food Sensory R&D prior to returning to school for photography and have since worked on a little of everything from fashion shows to film sets to live event production. I take a ton of goofy selfies and love my music loud.

Anyone who knows me knows I love asking the tough questions which translates directly into my passion to innovate and be a solutions generator both artistically and socially. Being connected and involved in making a positive change is important to me. When I’m not working I’m usually hiding in my studio (which so happens to double as my bedroom), blasting music and working on any and every mixed media idea that pops into mind that week.

Art has me shaking- I just have to tell people about what they’re missing out on. Art is not just for other artists, the “social elites” or institutions- it belongs to all people. It is an innate part of everyone and I find it liberating to voice that. I feel called to connect the people who don’t believe they’re creative with the art world and in doing so, help them find their expressive voice. Merging my creative passion with other people’s imagination and ideas has shown me the power of the collective voice and it’s a joy to continue co-creating with my fellow humans.
